Happy 2014

Hey everybody it's now 2014 a brand-new year, and a brand-new start I have lots of resolutions to do:

Stay more organized

Be nicer to my brother and sister

Read more books

Try to clean my room at least once a week

Watch less TV

Use less electronics

Be more productive

Those are my resolutions for 2014!

      Lately I've been very busy With the start of 4-H, Trying to do my resolutions and Keeping up with school!

      I'm moving soon and moving in with my Granny (the place I lived before I live where I live now). I don't really want to but it'll make my Granny happy so I'm going to. We are moving about 30 minutes away from where I live now, I think........But, I do get my own room, yay!!

        Soon I will be getting a pet guinea pig soon. I'm so happy! Her name is Piggy I'm getting her from my aunt. I just have to find room for her somewhere!

Sorry I have not written in a long time. I have been very busy.

What is your favorite type of candy? Mine is candy corn. It's so good!

2 bracelets I've made

Lately I've been doing a lot of rainbow loom bracelets. The other day I got a second loom. And today I learned how to make a double braid. It's really easy once you learn to do it.

Has anyone ever been to a pumpkin farm? I love pumpkin farms! And picking out the perfect pumpkin. I work at a pumpkin farm in my area, one that my grandma owns. It's really fun to work there and they have a really awesome fall festival.

Over the fall we got new chores. I have no more dishes, my brother does them now. Now I have to put away the clean dishes and take out the trash - ew!

How many of you out there like sock monkeys? I sure do! I have a ton of them and wear a sock monkey hat all day.

A little about me

My cat Roger

 Just another day. Still in my PJ's. So I will tell you how my blog got it's name. My mom told me that this was the perfect month to start a blog because it is NaBloPoMo. The name I wanted, which was Things To Think About, but it was taken. We had a lot of trouble finding a name. A lot of them where taken. Then my dad came in and told me to do the cat litter. So I did the cat litter. And that's how my blog got it's name.

 Marcy and Roger are black and white cats. Roger's very fat and fluffy. And Marcy is skinny and short hair.

Vacation





Earlier in the year, my family and I went to Colorado. It was so beautiful. And yes, I still had to do chores. I had to do the dishes with my older sister. I did not like it, but if I'm telling the truth - it wasn't that bad. I also got to meet new friends, swim, hiked, played, raft, go to a rodeo.

 

I took all the pictures. Do you like them? The picture below is of Mesa Verde. I liked going to Mesa Verde. We did a lot of hiking there. There were buildings from the Native Americans that were amazing. They were built into a cliff side! We got to go into one of the buildings. It was underground and called a Kiva. The Kiva is like our churches today because that's where they did spiritual things.

 

 

We also went to 4 corners. When I was there, I got to meet my penpal and that was my favorite part of the vacation. 4 Corners was really cool because I got to go into four states at one time!

 Our vacation was also special because we took the train from Chicago to Colorado. I like traveling by train better than traveling by plane and by car. We got a sleeper car and I got to sleep on the top bunk. And we had good food in the dining car.
